Being an Aunt!

Hi Friends! :) 

I am sorry I have been so MIA

Last week i was sick, I may or may not have gotten Tevis sick also

Hope everyone had a great weekend. 

Over a week ago i Finally got to go spend some time with my 6 month old niece. I went and spent the night at my parents house, it was time i go spend time with my family! I went by myself, Tevis and the pups stayed home. It was our first night away from each other in over two years, so i was anxious about leaving him by himself. He did ok, makes me feel little bit better leaving him, because in less then two weeks i will be leaving for Oklahoma with my mom, for four nights. 

Anyways, we both survived....and when I cam home i was surprised with this. (it was almost valentines day)

He was so excited for me to come home. I love when i seen him because he hugged my like i had been gone for weeks! I love him so much!!!

Also while i was gone to my moms I needed a change!!!!

Bye bye blonde!! Hello Deep violet/red! I love the change, it has faded a little already but that's because of how blonde my hair was. this of course will be so much easier to maintain :) What do you think??? 

Being an aunt to me is the most amazing job in the world! I will be this little girls best friend, someone she can come to, someone she can trust, someone she can always know in her heart I will never let her down. That little girl has so much love around her she will never be without. I may not ever get to be a mother to my own baby, so being an Aunt to me is pretty darn close. I get to spend 5 days with her while we are in Oklahoma and i couldn't be more excited for the extra time i get with her. I am going to be her favorite aunt :)

Weekend Away

Hello ALL, Happy Tuesday! Its FALL and i love FALL TIME!
I am sorta sad because back home our county fair is going on, and i just did not make plans to go i think this is my 2nd or 3rd year missing it, Oh well. Honestly, there are a lot of people i don't want to see.

So My family from Oklahoma came to my parents house to meet our newest addition to the family. Miss Taylin Nicole. We got someone to stay at our house and watch storm while we went and stayed Friday and Saturday night. I love and needed family time. I got to see my niece which was amazing. She will be 2 months October 6th. So i know i have been MIA but i thought i would photo bomb you with my weekend and some major cuteness of my Niece!

came back sunday, Storm was HUGE, she grew while we were gone for sure.

25 years of LOVE

Today is my parents 25th anniversary and i am showing them some love on my blog!
They are celebrating in Cancun, Mexico and even though it has rained a lot they are having the time of their life! This was a much needed vacation for them. Between tevis, me, my brother and his girlfriend. We surprised them with a couples massage suppose to be on the beach but because of rain that didn't happen. They both have never gotten one and they LOVED it!

They have been through a lot together over the past 25 years and are a good set of role models for me to look up to. They love with each other and know how to still have fun with each other. I can only hope my relationship will still be like that with Tevis in 15-25 years. IF he keeps me around, hehe. I love my parents to death and so lucky to call them Mom & Dad.

I would not be where I am at in life if it was not for my parents. I only hope i have made them proud and thankful to to have me as their daughter! Hug your parents and tell them you love them, life goes by WAY too fast!

So I seen this picture post late last night on IG...

&& of course it spoke straight to my heart and stirred up what i wanted to post today in my lovely blog.

Look at these two good looking people. See where I get my good looks from, hehe. These two amazing people would be my parents. I call them mom & dad, you can too or Tony & Gayelynn. :)  My parents and I arent getting any younger and well i am 24 years old and last year or so I have realized more and more how precious life is and how I cherish my parents so much. I moved away from home a little over a year ago and let me tell you i am homesick about everyday. Some days are better then others when I am busy and not thinking about it. Moving was good for me though and i know where I needed to be, with Tevis, which they understood. I am just so thankful i am only couple hours away and in the same State, i wont ever move any farther away then I already am THATS for SURE!

 My dad will be 51 this year, doesnt seem like it, but he is a very hard working man who loves my mom and treats her great and he is a young kid at heart. He enjoys life and is care free and laid back. I love his comments "you can sleep when your dead" and "sleeping in is like 8:30am". He is a jokster and is a kid at heart, all my friends ALWAYS got along with him. 

My mom is the rock of the family because well without her we would all be lost, not even kidding there. I will admit i am better living away from them because my relationship with my mom is a  lot better that away. She is more like my bestfriend most days. My mom is so kind and so nice she loves her kids and would do anything for us. Give her a pepsi with LOTS of ice and your her favorite person of the day. I dont know anyone who could say a bad thing about my mom and it be true? Shes an amazing mother, wife, and gonna kick ass at being a GRANDMA! 

My parents are pretty special to me and yes it may have taken me years and years to realize this, but hey I DID :). Life is so unpredictable and tomorrow is never promised so I cherish my monthly visits, weekends I will always remember. I love them dearly!

 So what should you get out of this post? Love your parents. Love your family. Tell them you love them all the time. Hug them. Dont take life for granted. We are all sadly getting older and time is precious. Cherish the time we have left on this earth with your loved ones. 

Dear Grandma!

Dear Grandma! 

     You have been missed beyond words for the last seven years, SEVEN years? I just cant even believe it.  I sit here and think about all you and grandpa have missed in my life, but i have to sit back and remember you are watching me, always watching me. I so wish i could talk to you right now, could use some encouragement. I miss the sound of you voice, i need to go to mom and dads and watch some home videos of when we were younger. I know you see the struggles Tevis and I are going through and I only hope you send some sunshine down on us, to know we are going down the right path and that things will be okay. I so wish you could have met Tevis, I know you two would have loved him and i know you and grandpa see how happy he makes me and how i am very well taken care of. There is not a day that goes by that i don't think of you grandma! Around holidays, your birthday, the day you left us, ALL THE TIME! Every time i am on the interstate and see one of those CRST semi trucks all i can do is smile, i don't see them often and when i do I feel like its a sign from you and grandpa, that things are going to be ok or its going to be a good day. The same day we lost you is the same day Delaney was born, Tevis' daughter. This Saturday marked 7 years, and I was occupied with Delaney's birthday but i never forgot about you. We miss you so much grandma and you too grandpa! I hope you are up there enjoying the after life and watching all of us from time to time. I hope you are proud of me and where my life is going because in every decision I make i always have you two in mind. I love you both! See you again! XOXO

For some reason my anxiety has been super high today, i had to cave and have some pop to get some caffeine in my system and took a nice hot shower to lose my muscles up. SO i am here tonight to introduce the people in my life I will be talking about a lot, My Family!

My Parents! Tony & Gayelynn! They are a amazing parents and I know they are always there for me! My dad is the general manager at Smokey Bones in Ft wayne, he is a kid at heart and enjoys life and his family a lot! My momma has a day care in her house and she loves her kids and is the most nicest kindest lady in the world! Ask ANYONE! Everyone loves my parents. I cant wait to give them a grand baby! 

This is my almost 21 year old(ahhh) brother TJ, i call him Bub or Bubby. He works hard and as a hobby he likes to barter things, mainly vehicles. He has a new one each week I swear. He recently found out he is going to be a daddy!!! The pretty girl with him is his girlfriend Haley, she is the sweetest girl ever. We have a good relationship, i love her as my own sister. Plus she is going to make me an Aunt and i couldn't be more happier about that!!!

This is Delaney! My boyfriends almost 7 year old daughter. I met her almost two years ago and she was attached to me in 10 minutes that we met, daddy came second when i was around, haha! She is so sweet, so loving, smart and has lots of energy. She also is like her father and has no patience, stubborn, and has a mouth on her. But shes 6 lol. Kids will be kids, overall she is an amazing little girl I enjoy out time together.

This is my amazing boyfriend, we will have been together for three years in October. I will post his story/our story in a few days. Just know he is amazing, my best-friend, my rock, my protector, my hero. He is the strongest most kindest man I know. Doesn't matter how we found each other, everything happens for a reason, and best believe you will hear a lot about Tevis Ryan Stambaugh! <3

I Turned 24 today!

ME! happy birthday to me!!

     

   I must say the past year has gone by very fast. A lot has been going on since my last birthday, and I must say i will be glad not spending most of the month of February in the hospital because of Tevis. He is much healthier this time then last year. I overall had a great day :) Got a lot of birthday wishes through, texts, calls, and facebook, i felt loved. I cannot believe I am 24! Spending time in Auburn with my family is exactly how i wanted to spend my birthday! We planned a while back to save money and go about and hour away to Middleberry and eat at the Amish restaurant, Das Essenhaus. I barely had service in the amish town so now pictures were really taken, Boo, So I just ignored my phone. Had a very awesome home cooked family style meal and then bought some homemade pies and went home. Tevis had told the waitress it was my birthday so when it was dessert time i had a candle to blow out and a few of the ladies sang happy birthday to me!!! I still very much wish my grandma and grandpa Snyder were alive but i know they were with my in my heart.

Now i hope the next year is much much better and takes its sweet time, turning 25 is a big deal. EEEEk!
