5 on Friday

I am so glad it is Friday, my weekend is going to be pretty great. The only BAD thing is i need to finish my coding class homework but i will get it done i always do. 

I hope everyone has had a great week and has some fun things to do over the weekend. 

-I am linking up for 5 on Friday.... :) My best friend Megan and my nephew Tucker are coming to see Tevis and I this weekend. She is staying the night Saturday. She has requested cheesecake factory, so we are doing that for lunch and I want to make her a yummy steak dinner, she is excited. Megan is expecting her second baby next month, my 2nd niece :) i am so excited for her. Megan is very special to me and has a big place in my heart. When i split from my ex-husband she was one of the very few that stuck by my side and never judged me. I am so ready to show her my house and spend time quality time with her. 

- Sunday we are doing family pictures with Tevis' moms side of the family. We are being brave and bringing Storm for out little family picture. It will be a nice tradition to start and shes apart of our family :) && next weekend we are going to my parents house for some big family news and family pictures. I cant wait to SEE MY NIECE!!!! Cant wait to show you all our family pictures. Below is three photos from last year :)

- So i have been back in College since September 23rd 2012. I should be graduating December 20th, 2014. and Let me tell you... I AM READY TO BE DONE!!! I take 3 classes each 12 week semester, and that is considered full time. I can not imagine doing 4 or 5 like most students are doing, i spend hours and hours on school work. I am so thankful i am in a place in my life where I do not have to work and I can just focus on school. I am so thankful for Tevis. As soon as this semester is over i have a two week break and I cannot wait. I am a little worn out with school but i gotta stay positive and keep trucking on. When i graduate i will have so may people proud of me and be able to finally start my career! WISH ME LUCK

- Christmas is just around the corner, money might not the best for us this year and christmas gifts are going to be limited but i am excited to have family all around to spend it with. I am mostly excited to decorate my house with Christmas decorations, i am actually a little sad i wont be able to put a tree up because of our ornery puppy Storm, but we will see. We are going for a non traditional tree. White with blue lights and all sports themed, Colts, Yankees, Michigan Wolverines. It'll make Tevis happy and that's all that matters to me :) I love making our own tradition! Tevis and I wont be giving christmas gifts to each other this year, which is hard for both of us. We decided that if money is ok we get all dressed up make a reservation and have dinner at St. Elmos downtown Indy. Which if anyone knows is Peyton Mannings favorite place and I think he owns some of it or put money into it. Not completely positive, but its a great place to eat, and not cheap!

- Lastly, i hope everyone who signed up for the Friendly Fall Swap enjoyed getting to "meet" someone new and getting a pretty awesome package in the mail :) I love swaps and cant wait to read everyone's post on what they got next week. Maybe we will do another one if we get the same amount sign ups and feedback! Stay tuned for that!!

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!!! 

5 On FRIDAY! TGIF!

1. This has started off to be a huge hit, we have over 30 people signed up. Today is the last day to sign up, so please get signed up and help spread the word for the last few hours to get signed up. We will work over the weekend to get everyone partnered up. Never did a swap so not sure how bloggers before have partnered people up! 2. I would love to tease my readers and tell them I have something very special to share with you, and soon enough you will know.

3.  Storm is 4 months old, she is 35lbs and the most energetic, loving, and beautiful dog in this world. She is the most stubborn, has a short attention span, and the most ornery dog i have ever had. She is A LOT of work, keeps me on my toes and i wouldn't have it any other way. She has brought so much joy to our lives that i couldn't see our life without her. She makes me laugh and yell daily but knows how to make up with her lovings and kisses :)

She is all done getting her puppy shots!!! Such a good big pretty girl :)

4. So miss Delaney is going to be in Florida next week, i am going to miss her and knowing she is so far away is crazy. BUT SHE IS GONNA BE HAVING A BLAST IN DISNEY WORLD! Its her first time and also first time on an airplane, cant wait to see some pictures and hear all about her trip when she gets back and stays with us for a week :) 

5. It's Friday, say a little prayer for Tevis, he has yet another eye appointment, he will probably get injections in his eyes again. We want to stay away from having to have surgery, his eyes need to stop bleeding and get better, he needs his vision to watch his daughter grow up. Diabetes is a terrible disease. Tevis has been through so much and i just wish and pray his health just gets better and he doesn't have to worry or stress about it. I guess that would be too easy, huh? Thanks in advance. 

TGIF! 5 on Friday

1. I am about to start my last week of this semester of classes. I am excited for a short week and a week break off school. Right now i have to A's and one B-. && i am ok with that :) more then okay with that. My B- is my insurance class which has KICKED MY ASS! SO hopefully i pass the exam with flying colors. Wish me luck everyone! At the rate I am going my last day will be December 20th, 2014. I was gonna add a class and get done a couple semesters sooner but I dont have the money to do it and i decided why stress out even more? So i'll stick to what I am doing.

2. So at the beginning of spring/summer..i made a deal with my bff Erica @ Loyal Run. We would sign up for a 5K run and exercise and train all summer for it. With moving, school, and re-modeling this house and other things. I had no idea how stressed i was gonna be and not train for this 5K, still no excuse but it has been never ending this past summer. The 5K color me rad is 8 days away. I am ok with it, because its going to be more fun then anything, Erica and I will run until we cant and walk whenever, I am not worried about it like I was. At least i am going to do it. Last night i stubbed my toe pretty bad, i think my pinky toe may be broke or just bruised really bad i hope in a could days i can tell that its going to be ok.

3. My parents have officially been marred for 25 years! They celebrated in Mexico this week. I hate that i cant just call or text me mom when i want, lol, but i am super glad they are having a blast! The other day they went zip lining through the water, snorkeling, kayaking, jumped off a cliff, etc etc. My mom was so surprised she did it herself and i cannot wait til i see pictures and hear all about it! We go pick them up at the airport tomorrow night, LATE and they are staying the night. :)

4. Football is back! PEYTON MANNING did awesome last night, shouldn't surprise anyone :) I have always been a Indianapolis Colts fan and a Manning fan, so i will always root for Manning, but i am overall a fan of football in general all thanks to Tevis. Last year i was in 4 fantasy leagues and this year only 2, playing in fantasy leagues makes football more interesting for me because we literally watch every game possible. We have season tickets to the Colts and this year we will probably one go to 1 or 2 games sadly, just too much walking for tevis. So we've sold some tickets, but hey we are okay with getting some cash back in our pocket.

5. HOUSE UPDATE! We need to get our gate fixed on the fence, last week a storm came through and swung it open, Storm got out, found her in the road. It was terrible :( my bedroom and wall decor has been my projects lately. I already wanna re-do Delaney's bathroom, I just don't like it anymore. Maybe i will give it a few more months before i do it and make tevis mad HAHA! Will be sharing pictures of updated stuff soon, so stay tuned! :)

TGIF. 5 on FRIDAY

The blogging community was really quite and I missed everyone! My 4th of July was different from years past, we didnt get a change to go see any fireworks, didn't have Delaney to take to any either:(  and I wasn't with my family shooting roman candles at each other, haha. Today is FRIDAY and i am glad, Delaney will be here tonight for A WHOLE week and before she gets here we are going to buy flowers, pick out rock and have dinner with our very dear Friend Karen. :)

1. I am not a cook, i never cared to learn and when i was living with my parents, the kitchen was my moms territory, you cant get in her way. Well now that we are on our own i am TRYING to cook. Tevis is actually picky and hates chicken but i am trying my best. I get sad when he doesn't care for something I've cooked but he eats it, i guess that's OK. Yesterday we tried out our very first crock pot meal. Vegetable beef stew and we have NO LEFT overs. It was a hit and Tevis' belly was satisfied. 
   
   
   
   2. Our 4th of July was just Tevis and I. We slept in until 11, got ready for the day, i did some homework, and we got all the food into the crock pot to start cooking. I asked Tevis to go bowling, i needed to practice. We then spent the rest of the day watching movies and just hanging out together. Around 930-10 we decided to go sit out in the garage and watch people shoot off fireworks around the neighborhood, we seen some pretty ones :) 
   
   
   3. I got new Essie the other day and one color i got was Sand Topez. I do not like it and I am being a good best friend and giving it my best friend Erica. 
   
   
   
   4. You may hear me talk a lot about our best friends Bob and Karen, their son Matt who lives out in San Diego, California. He needs A LOT OF prayers. He had seriously a little fall last week that ended up tearing some arteries and blood vessel in his leg, and now has developed blood clots in his legs and lungs. We need prayers that he will be okay. Thank you! 
   
   
   5. I miss my best friend Erica like no other. Every time i get to go home we can never have the time we need together :( I pray she can make it to Indy sometime and we get the time we need and deserve. We are best friends that live over 2 hours away but talk on a daily basis. I love how distance isn't hurting us, but its not helping us either. WE NEED BEST FRIEND TIME!

I am linking up with some amazing ladies for a fun 5 on Friday blog post! 

1. Today was a good day, Miss Delaney got a new BIKE! We had mrs. curls (a small amazing ice cream joint) before dinner LOL and then we breakfast for dinner, eggs, bacon, toast! 

2. I got some awesome mail since we moved in, I LOVE MAIL! My best friend Erica got me my first ever Essie Nail Polish. She has started a new addiction! 

3. I woke up yesterday to an e-mail from Instagram. They had an awesome new upgrade, we can now upload videos, like KEEK and VINE. I am not a huge fan of videos but hey it keeps things interesting. 

4. We have been able to relax and enjoy our home. I cant say enough how happy i am the way things have turned out in the inside. Getting rid of the white walls made such a difference and made it feel more home-y. CHANGE IS A GOOD THING, and i do not regret it. 

5. Tomorrow we are taking Delaney to the Marion County fair, her 4H projects are in the exhibit and going to be judged. I cannot wait to see her projects and have her show us everything she did this past year. I am so happy, excited and proud of her.
