Listen up fitness bloggers!

I am late posting today, but had to give you guys some good news! A great giveaway happening next week. 

I have been wanting a polar watch to be part of the Cool "fitness" group hehe! Plus i know how much it'll help me be able to step up my game with my exercise. 

I could be doing so many other different exercises but without this watch i dont have ANY idea how many calories i am burning. 

The same goes when I am doing at home challenges, such as the Get Fit February Challenge.

Happy Thursday!  You all are going to enjoy today's posts! Yummy drink recipe PLUS an amazing giveaway!

I may have to try this recipe i am about to share when I am in Tennessee for our extended weekend adult vacation. 

Spiked apple pie punch

This party beverage works well both hot and cold. With one 750-milliliter bottle of grain alcohol, you can serve about 36 people and get them all feeling seasonal with the apple and cinnamon flavors.

 

Prep time: 5 minutes, Cook time: 30 minutes

 

Ingredients

• 1 gallon apple juice

• 1 gallon apple cider

• 3 cups white sugar

• 8 cinnamon sticks

• 1 bottle 190 proof grain alcohol (750 ml)

 

Directions

1. In a large pot, combine juice, cidar, sugar and cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and let cool completely.

2. When cool, stir in grain alcohol.

3. Transfer to large serving dish and let guests ladle into cups. Garnish with additional cinnamon sticks or apple slices, if desired.

I did my first 5K this past Saturday and enjoyed it so much. I decided to keep up my good spirits about running and just DO IT. So today i got outside and ran for about 6 minutes straight. and i walked little before and after. I felt like i was going to die afterwards, but during i felt good. I will continue to get out and run or walk with storm. 

I want to do the Color me Rad in Ft Wayne, Indiana,  Next year and hope we can get a pretty good team together!
