We Can Wednesday! {8}

This is our 8th week Linking up, it is a slow moving Link UP but HEY it keeps Erica and I accountable for our weight loss journey!

My loss has been slow moving, i guess it is common, some weeks are going to be slower then others.
I am not eating CLEAN CLEAN 100% of the time. I eat better during the week. Last Thursday and Friday I didn't eat the greatest, BUT i enjoyed every minute of it, haha. I would not say i fell off the wagon i just enjoyed being with friends and eating food! I need to change my attitude, i am having a really hard time staying positive.

My biggest problem is when I do go out to eat i don't make healthy choices, 7 times outta 10. I will binge and eat something YUMMY and bad for me. I need to make better choices when I go out to eat even on my cheat meal. If i can start doing that i think my loss will start back up again.

My goals this week:
DRINK LOTS OF WATER, I even added green tea into my daily fluid intake, wahoo
MORE VEGGIES
No carbs at dinner during the week ( Monday and Tuesday i did not have any carbs, WAHOO)
Variety of different exercises (get Fit february is off to a great start for me so far)
No eating after 9pm

Today i am down 19lbs!
i am 201....my short term goal is 198 by this sunday. HERES to 3 more lbs lost!!!

My top 5 favorite IPHONE APPS!

Hi Friends,

it is TUESDAY! 
The good old state of Indiana is getting attacked with yet another Winter Storm starting sometime this afternoon. I went to the store yesterday we are good if we are snowed or iced for the a few days. 

So today, little short and sweet post.
I thought i would share my top 5 favorite iPhone apps. :) 



In no particular order here are my top 5 favorite or most used apps 

My Fitness Pal
I use this everyday all day! What a great fitness app this is. It is the most used fitness, calorie tracker I know. If you don't have this, get it and use it, and add me on there :) We all need to support each other. 

Instagram!
I use IG most outta my social media apps. I love to take and share photos of my everyday life. I love to interact with bloggers through IG also. Follow me and see tons of cuteness daily, ;) This is a great way to interact and stay in touch. 

a Beautiful Mess
This wonderful app is $0.99, but so worth it! I know a lot of bloggers use it, never really found anything free quite like this. I was perfectly ok spending the $0.99. You can take photos and add text and doodles to them.

Cuptakes!
This lovely app is another one that cost, only $0.99. It updates every month. This lovely app give you your lock screen and home wallpapers. I change my often and monthly. So this app was worth buying. If ya wanna see some of the wallpapers, ask me i will send ya some options! Its worth the download/money! GO GET IT :) 

PINTEREST! 
This is by far the most addicting app out there to stay late up on and build your dream house or satisfy your creative side. I love pinning stuff i can do to make my house MY HOME. I love having a engagement/wedding board to plan my future wedding. I have an exercise board to help me with new exercise routines. I know this is a POPULAR app. If you don't have it, i don't even know what to say, i would be shocked! SO many recipes i get from there, whether its my healthy foods or yummy desserts, ya cant go wrong when you get on Pinterest.

Monday oh Monday!

Hello my lovely readers,

How was everyone's weekend?
was looking forward to the super bowl! I love the commercials :) I loved that Bruno mars was going to be singing the half time show!!! 
I was disappointed and sad for Peyton manning! & the commercials sucked this year!

Final was....

We had quite the lazy weekend. We picked Delaney up Friday after school at 430 and she went back to her moms Sunday at 5pm. Always love her being here with us, just felt bad because darn winter has been so bad this year that everyone is getting lazy being soo cooped up in the house. Although it is the first weekend in awhile that we have not been busy, so it was nice at the same time. Tevis has needed to stay off his leg so we made no plans, or canceled plans. I cant wait for warm weather so Delaney and I can go for bike rides, walk the dogs and go swimming. Just being able to sit on our back deck and enjoy the warm weather will be amazing.

One thing she requested over the weekend was Sunday Breakfast, so i got up at 830 and made, scrambled eggs bacon and hash-browns for Tevis and Delaney. I made myself one egg over easy, turkey sausage links and hash-browns. I was still happy to enjoy breakfast with my bacon monsters but i enjoyed a small low calories version :) WINNING! Even though it was a lazy weekend it was a great weekend.

So with valentines day coming up and knowing we will have a full house that weekend i am thinking of some yummy treats to indulge in that weekend.

FOR THE ADULTS,

How to Make Valentine Moscato Float
Ingredients
1 Bottle Mirassou Moscato Wine
Strawberry Pop
Vanilla Ice Cream

Instructions
Step 1 – Place two scoops of vanilla ice cream in a glass
Step 2 – Add 1/2 cup of Strawberry Soda
Step 3 – Fill the rest of the glass with the Moscato wine.  Enjoy!

Can't wait to try these!

My bestie, Tamara and her kiddos will be at my house for the weekend So full house :) 

I bought this at Aldi's to make for breakfast valentines day weekend :) 

I want to also make these for the kiddos :)

Follow through Friday {4}

I decided to join this link up with all these beautiful ladies!
I need some encouragement and support and Thought this would be a great way to get some interaction with other bloggers on a weight loss journey.


Little recap for new readers :) , i started this new journey of getting healthy and losing weight around November 11th, since then I have lost 17lbs i have not seen the scale go down my last two weight ins
:(
thursday was a bad day, i was very down about it and just wanted to give up. I looked in the mirror after my relaxing bath and instantly got sad. I had my sad moment and now going to be even more determined to lose the weight. My short term goal was to be 199 or lower by my birthday, february 9th. I am not sure if i can reach it but i sure will try!!
I started this journey coming in at 220lbs, i am down 203/204 range depends on the day i guess lol I go back and forth.

I am going to add greens to my shakes, no carb rule at dinner time, MORE VEGGIES, MORE WATER, variety of exercise!
I suffer from Poly cystic ovarian syndrome, and i was told it will be hard for me to lose the weight i want. So i need to not let that stop me and kick that disease in its ass!

I got my Plum paper planner, thanks to my bff Erica @ LoyalRUN. I wrote down all my goals for the week and i reached them all. WAHOOO.

I would love suggestions on shake/smoothie recipes
suggestions on Meal planning
Best work outs for BEGINNERS!


Another thing i need to work on is my cheat meal i have every Thursday... how do you ladies handle cheat meals? Sometimes i am conscious of what i eat and sometimes i over do it. I feel cheat meal is ok for me because i don't feel so deprived, just wanted some opinions on it.

I feel i followed through just fine with my goals for the week. Just had a bad Thursday, TODAY IS A NEW DAY!!!!

Going to start this challenge on Sunday!!! Let me know if your joining us :) 

My next fitness item i buy is one of these babies! I deserve one :)
